I have no hesitation in recommending Karen Pitts tutoring service, even with a slightly younger child such as my son, who was 10 years old at the time of his lessons with her.

On a practical level, Karen always communicated very clearly with me around the times and dates of his lessons, so that I was able to plan ahead which I greatly appreciated. She has also always responded rapidly to phone calls or emails.

On an academic level, Karen helped my son to improve his overall atandard of work, by helping him to build on his strengths , as well as by giving him additional exercises to practice and develop areas where he was a little weaker. Both strategies seem to have worked to build his overall confidence and eventual success in examination.

I am very grateful for all Karen's input (and at time patience) as well as the range of helpful tips and strategies that she suggested in what was always a warm and professional manner.

 

Whilst being unquestionably professional – Karen was also able to be efficient and before long I noticed that Aaron was much more comfortable with the upcoming exams - and the skills he was learning filtered into some of his other subjects. I don't know what Aaron's grades are yet - but what I do know is that they are going to be better than they would have been without the tutoring Aaron received - I cannot recommend Karen enough - because the extra support is good educationally but the decrease in stress for my son and myself made it worth every penny - and the tutor was really nice as well. Thank you. (Aaron achieved GCSE grade B).
